Q.3. General comments: (8 blanks on this section)
Great job! Hope to attend future sessions. (3)
Have opportunities to enroll in follow-up sessions.
Liked the food!
Thanks! Very informative day!!!
General sessions with breakouts for application in disciplines
Less on objectives
Overall an awesome day! I really learned a lot and I have some great resources to go home and look over. Thank you!
Thank you for running this.
Please have again-but earlier, before classes start (even if same week) too much on last day before classes start.
Day very well spent-thank you./ This was extremely helpful, wish I attended earlier in career.
Very nicely done, lots of info, lots of sharing.
Excellent timing.
Really enjoyed opening video. Seats in 122 are horrible.
Opportunity to interact with various faculty and staff from multiple disciplines, well done!
Terrific, varied, conveniently scheduled. Some sessions could be more tightly focused for example, “creating fair, plagiarism-proof and interesting writing assignments” or “quizzes: how to write and use good brief formative assessments”.
Classes on iTV, online courses and HuskyCT
Shorter lunch break (3), expand time of sessions or end day earlier; continue to offer samplers—I’d like to dabble in some of the other offerings. (2)
Some sessions on grad student level.
Just great overall, good instruction and references.
Better titles/descriptions: 2 of 3 sessions although helpful were not what I expected.
Devote full day to one topic, e.g., testing/writing test questions, grading/no Bell curve, etc
More hands-on activities instead of lectures, more in-depth, fewer topics.
Keep doing this! Even if it seems like we don’t use it, it gets us thinking about new ideas and keeps us stimulated—it’s really great that there was time for discussion amongst ourselves—at first I was dubious about that much time for lunch but it helped me to get to know others and talk about issues.
Nice service provided.
